I’m India, a passionate, fun loving person on a mission to put the joy back into work. 

After over a decade of working with change-makers and businesses to improve their equity practices and organizational culture, I realized that something was sorely missing from the organizations and from the daily lives of the business owners I worked with; you know what that thing was? Joy!

We know old approaches to organizational culture, equity, & work/life integration don't work, yet we keep at it. 

Everywhere you look there’s pressure to be "on," available, & productive, making it hard to have a balanced work and personal life. Something is always sacrificed. It's time to choose a new way of being.

When one begins with the wrong questions, it's likely that the organization will adapt practices and policies that address symptoms instead of the root causes. As such these efforts are unsustainable and fall flat. All too often we focus on the fruit instead of the root of these issues.  

At its worst, "DEI" (Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion) solutions lack an anti-oppression lens, fail to center care, and establish trust—elements that are essential for addressing organizational culture. They prioritize urgency over intention, are riddled with guilt, and are often led by consultants/coaches who frequently prioritize harmony and convenience instead of flexibility and engaging in honest and necessary conversations.

For too long people have just accepted this, but not you because you're here. What if...
